I heard some good hype about the coffin bar. Don’t let the black gothic vibe keep you away. The waitresses are friendly and try to help with any requests you may have for your order. The food is very tasty. We had 10:30 reservations for brunch. The French toast is so delicious with the citrus cream cheese filling. The Korean bbq wings had a great flavor with just enough heat and spice to make your lips tingle but not be overpowering. My party ordered smash burgers as well which came out hot, fresh and flavorful. Full “coffin” bar for drinks and specialties along with Spring Hill brewery beers. If I’m in Lancaster area this is a definite stop for food!

I had a really good first experience at the Coffin Bar. As it’s a byproduct of Springhouse Brewery, the interior is loaded with all things spooky, including the pentagram wallpaper and skull light fixtures. The food menu is constantly rotating but the quality is always top-notch. Try to go when you can actually enjoy a boozy drink. They have several tap beers that range in all types of styles. I think the mixed drinks are outstanding. A really solid experience.

I have been wanting to check this restaurant out for awhile now. We loved the decor and the food and drinks were delicious the salmon was glazed perfectly and the death by chocolate cake!!! Our waiter was awesome and very attentive. We can not wait to come back!!

I had an amazing experience at this one-of-a-kind bar! The atmosphere and decor perfectly captured the coffin bar theme, creating an intriguing and fun ambiance that set the stage for a memorable evening. The food was absolutely incredible—the option I picked was The Smashburger and it was packed with flavor and creativity. My drink was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it a true standout. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt taken care of throughout our time there. The menu offered a wide variety of unique and exciting options that I can’t wait to try again. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience with a fun twist!

We stopped here for drinks and an appetizer and were not disappointed at all! You can tell the owner absolutely had a vision and they executed it perfectly! From the coffin shaped bar, old church lights, alter, skull glass lights in the window, gargoyles outside, themed menu, all the way down to the etching in the bar.. it was all so well thought out! Drinks were delicious, and the goat balls were out of this world! We cannot wait to come back on our next trip to Lancaster and try more of their food and drinks.

After hearing about this place, I quickly pulled out that old high-school box with my emo/grunge memorabilia and decided to go check it out ASAP. I was fully prepared and excited to turn back the clock and hang out somewhere with an atmosphere similar to my youth. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a friendly staff. Our waiter was very quick to get us settled in. I quickly realized that The Coffin Bar was not what I was expecting. Looking back now, I'm ok with that because between you and me, I am NOT as young as I used to be. I probably could not handle this place if it was exactly what I was expecting. As I mentioned, the atmosphere of the bar was not what I was expecting. Considering that this place is near a college, it was actually super laid back. The type of crowd you will encounter here will resemble that of a coffee shop, but better because there is beer. Although I was disappointed they didn't decorate a little more, I am ok with it. I feel as though the minimalist approach they took with the decor makes it more inviting to people who may not be too comfortable with this kind of lifestyle. I DO wish that the music they had playing was a little "darker." The food and drinks my table ordered were delicious. However, the best part about our order was actually the menu itself. Whoever came up with it had a great sense of humor, and it made me enjoy my food even more. I also enjoyed seeing so many things on the menu that catered to a wide variety of food sensitivities. Since I was with people I had not seen in years, I was a bit concerned that this place would not give us enough time to catch up. The joke was on me because the staff at The Coffin Bar never made my table feel like we had to rush anything. We ordered when we were ready, and we left when we were ready. Our waiter did an excellent job at checking in on us without making us feel like he was telling us to leave, and for that, I am grateful. Unique little spot that you should consider checking out.

We went here for the first time and it was really good! The food was surprisingly delicious for a bar. I got the kimchi fries, which were only 10 and a really big portion size. I also got the pork belly sandwich, which was very good. Overall, the food was really good, and the prices were reasonable. There are some pricier food options, but there's also a lot of reasonably priced options. And there were a lot of unique drinks. I got the orange bourbon drink, and it was very good and decently strong. Overall, great place, neat atmosphere and decor, and great food and drinks!

Great food, great beer, and great service (thank you Desiree!) Vibe (goth) was a little too much, but everything we had to eat was amazing. Some "slightly different" menu items (which rotate seasonally but everything was great and great tasting, cooked exactly as requested. Massive portions - our french fry loving family nhad to take ho.r half. Wide variety of Spring House Brewing company beers for every palate. It was a nice night so the overhead doors were open which was a very nice experience. Looking forward to returning.
